Post In-game commands guide

Because many people has asked how the in-game command work here a little guide about what commands you have and there syntax.

All command begin with '/!', this will show in up in BC2CC but not in-game.

General:
A playername consist of ONLY 1 WORD! This can be part of a playername, it doesnt have to be a full name. If that playername consist of more then 1 word (like 'stupid name') then only enter part of the name (like 'stupid'). The program will look for the right playername. If it cannot find the playername, it will give you a message.
The in-game commands always try's to gives a response back in the form of a say message. If you dont get a response back then check your settings.

Banning:
/!b [PlayerName] [Reason]
/!bp [PlayerName] [Reason]
- This is a permanent ban for playername, it will recieve the reason on his screen.

/!br [PlayerName] [Reason]

/!ys [TeamId] [SquadId] [Message]

/!yp [PlayerName] [Message]

So what happens in a situation like this -
Read more on: : i3D.net Game Forums http://forum.i3d.net/showthread.php?t=149418

Two admins for a server are both running the tool and monitoring what is going on. They've both made a kick reason with ID number 1 that is different from one another. An admin in game on the server uses his dashboard given power to kick someone using the number 1 reason. Which message gets displayed?

If both admins with CC open have both admins enabled for in game commands, it's going to cause multiple commands to be sent. It's probably just going to act on the first command it gets and the next will be ignored.

This is why it is a good idea to sync up with your fellow admins as to who is enabled for in-game commands if you're all playing. Only one person needs to run the tool while you're playing together.

Would it be possible to set a priority for the commands?

Or even just manually set the reason IDs, so like, I could set mine to even numbers and he could set his to odds, so we know we aren't double sending commands to the server?

The server executes them as soon as they are received if I'm not mistaken. Am I misunderstanding your question?

Normally, to execute a kick with a premade reason, I would type as an in-game message "/!k <player> <reason id>"

I the reason id numbers seem to be automatically generated in the order you make them in BC2CC. I would like the ability to number them myself or edit their tagged numbers. So that way, as an example, my instance of CC could take numbers 1 through 5, and the other Admin could take numbers 6-9 or something. That way I could execute the kick with the reason I choose by typing "/!k player 1 "and have it not try to execute two kicks of two reason numbers 1's. If thats possible anyway.

I see what you mean. Something for us to think about.. for now, I'd recommend not having everybody have the tool open, or removing the people from your Ingame commands who have it open.

Sladvan, the in-game kick command doens't use the reasons which you have setup in the BC2CC tool.
the format is:
/!k [playername] [reasontext]
Sorry but using a reason id is confusing as everybody sets up its own reasons. Using a text makes it easier and also they dont have to remember the Id.

Its never good to run two BC2CC tools on 1 server. The tool querys the server. If multiple tools query the server to much it will LAG the game.

In-game commands dont use the reasons you setup in the console. You just type the reason you are kicking that person. Like:
/!k jangster you got kicked by jokemaster
Read more on: : i3D.net Game Forums http://forum.i3d.net/showthread.php?t=149418

And the message "you got kicked by jokemaster" will come on there screen.

Just right click their name and it will provide you with a list of ways to kick them.

Version 0.9.9 and up

The main screen for the server is the player list. Right click their name.
